This note has a collection of Database scripts that can be used for analysis of the SAP HANA Database.
PowerConnect can be used to run these scripts on the required schedule and deliver the output to Splunk
GUI Settings
If you are uploading multiple files it is recommended that you make the following GUI settings so you are not prompted for each upload.
Full Upload
To upload the full set of scripts upload the zip file directly.
Select the “Load from PC” button
Select the ZIP file.
Select “Open”
Select the scripts you want to run by selecting “Active” and interval you want it to run.
Select “Save”
Selective Upload
Select the “Load from PC” button
Use the “Ctrl” key to select multiple files.
Select “Open”
Select the scripts you want to run by selecting “Active” and interval you want it to run.
Update existing queries with the latest version
The OSS Note gets updated regularly, so you should ensure to check the note on a regular basis.
Below are the steps to update the loaded scripts.
Select the “Load from PC” button
You can either select to upload the new complete zip file or unzip the file and selectively upload and overwrite specific scripts.
Confirm you want to overwrite the existing file.
Activate HANA extractor
Once script is uploaded and activated, we need to activate the extractor. To do this, go to Administrator > Setup Group Def
Look for HDBSCRIPTS and check to Active
